Chana daal

Description:

Daal is one of the mist popular dishes in India.

Serving Size:

1 bowl

Ingredients:

1 cup chana daal, 1 large onion, 1 teaspoon garlic and onion, 2 tablespoon oil

Preparation:

Leave daal in water for an hour. Heat up oil, add chopped onions. Fry the onions till brown. Add garlic and ginger. Cook for a few minutes then add daal with a couple of cups of water. If you like liquid daal, add more water.
