Queso Salazar has been in business for over 54 years. The company was founded by Moises and Estela Salazar in their home state of Oaxaca-a southern state of Mexico.
A combination of hard labor, attention to quality, and love for the art of cheese making has won them recognition among those who refuse to alter the tradition by sticking to the ancestral methods.
The Salazar's raised nine children, six of whom, along with their own children continue the family's legacy. The Salazar family takes pride in their new facility in Brentwood, California, which allows them to expand and increase the production of their unique and unparalleled products.
